How long does it take to replace a windshield?
The install itself usually takes 45 to 90 minutes. After that, the urethane adhesive needs about one hour of safe drive-away time before the vehicle can be driven safely. We walk you through the exact cure time for your job on the day of service.
Can a rock chip be repaired instead of replacing the windshield?
Often, yes. If the chip is smaller than a quarter and not in the driver's direct line of sight, we can usually inject resin and stop the crack from spreading.
